Cycling through the Valsugana

From Trentino to Veneto: Cycling through the Valsugana

This route is hardly a challenge, but it offers pure fun, the cycle path through the Valsugana leads through lovely landscapes, through forests, meadows and orchards and into narrow, spectacular valleys.

We start on the banks of the Caldonazzo lake, then cycle along the Brenta river to finally land in Bassano del Grappa, in Veneto. The beauty is: on the majority of the route, you are on asphalted, but mainly flat tracks, the 80 kilometer long route can therefore also be driven by families.

There are plenty of places where you can stop for a bite to eat, as well as picnic areas and wells, which are available for cyclists.

The best way to go back is to take the train through the Valsugana, which is well equipped for bicycle transport.
