Val di Fassa and Fiemme

The cycle paths of the Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa

The cycle path that crosses the Val di Fiemme and the Val di Fassa is doubtless one of the most beautiful in Trentino since it is the two of the most breathtaking valleys of this country.

The cycle track, which can also be used by amateur cyclists, is 41 kilometers long and has a height difference of 600 meters. Those of you, who are fit enough, can easily extend the tour, for example, by rounding the Sellarock, the infamous Sella Ronda.

We will stay with our original route, the cycle path in the Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa: this is usually a separate path, only on few sections you will drive on secondary roads, where there is usually little or no traffic. However, few sections are not paved, but the challenges are also limited here.

To reach the bike path through the two valleys is not difficult. You can get there either by bike from Trento via the Val di Cembra or from Auer/Ora. However, you have to step into the pedal in both cases, in order to gain the necessary height. That is why all those who prefer more relaxed tours use the BikeExpress Fassa-Fiemme, a bus with a bicycle trailer, which takes the bikers to the starting point of the cycle path and at the end picks them up again.
