The tour of the three valleys

Valsugana, Val di Fiemme, Val di Cembra

This itinerary is a bit longer, but it leads through three of the most fascinating valleys of the Trentino.

From Trento, head for Pergine, which is already in the Valsugana, from there to the Caldonazzo lake and through the whole valley to Primolano. Just past the village, follow the signposts to Feltre and enter a tunnel.

After the tunnel, continue for a few kilometers, afterwards you need to pay attention not to miss the signposts towards Fiera di Primiero. The road climbs again not very noticeably, then much more steeply and leads to the Passo Rolle, where you can take a break and enjoy the panorama with the spectacular Pale di San Martino.

From the pass go down to the Val di Fiemme, one of the greenest valleys of Trentino. Down in the valley you pass through the Paneveggio Natural Park, with its extensive forests, as well as the villages of Bellamonte and Predazzo.

Continue along the Avisio until you reach Cavalese and follow the signs for Stramentizzo to the lake of the same name. Here the valley becomes narrower, as one enters the Val di Cembra with its vineyards. Here you can enjoy the picturesque valley and drive to Lavis, from where you return to Trento.

Duration: around 4 hours
