Shopping in Trento: shops not to be missed
Discover Trento one shop at a time: shopping is another peaceful and relaxing way to visit the city.
Here are a few tips to spend a carefree afternoon: all the shops mentioned are in the centre just a few minutes’ walk from each other: perfect to include in a “giro al Sas”, what we in Trentino call a stroll around the city centre.
Outdoors, mountains and sport: La Sportiva shop
One of our favourite perspectives in Trento is… from the top of our peaks.
For this we recommend you visit the shops dedicated to the outdoors and sports: they are the expression of a typical passion in the area and the people that live there.
In particular don’t forget to take a look at the la Sportiva shop: it is a Trentino brand that is also popular abroad. It sells clothing and footwear for various sports and the mountains.
It is in via Mazzini, just a stone’s throw from Piazza Fiera.
Local delicacies: Lunelli
Can you say you know Trento without having tried its local cuisine? We recommend you visit Lunelli, a food shop that sells typical products from Trentino – South Tyrol: wine, cold cuts, cheeses, fresh pasta and other specialities. It is the perfect place to take a piece of Trentino home with you … literally!

Ceramics and household goods: the Thun shop
Did you know? The Thun brand, famous and very popular in Italian homes was founded in Bolzano, about 60 km from Trento and is now considered to be a typical shop in the region.
It is known especially for its decorative ceramic accessories but it also has lots of household goods and much more: kitchen objects, lamps and a range of bags…
You can find the Thun shop in Via Armando Diaz in the city centre.
Clothing: Outfit del Desiderio shop
A real shopping break also includes fashion! On our “giro al Sas” don’t forget to drop into Outfit del Desiderio: this shop has a vast assortment of ladies clothing. Not just dresses: it also has accessories to complete any outfit.

Rings, necklaces, bracelets… Mosele
The Mosele Jewellery shop opened in Trento in 1985 and has become the go to jewellery shop in the city with its selection of very elegant items. It sells both jewellery made in its laboratory and other brands.
